Abstract. The use of antibacterial drugs in treatment of generalized periodontal diseases has recently been reduced due to microbial resistance evolution. Photoactivated disinfection can be effective treatment addition and alternative as antibacterial drugs. The optimization system of the photo-activated disinfection procedure at the stage of occupational hygiene is developed. Laser photometry technology is on the march for the microorganisms identification.
Key words: photo-activated disinfection, periodontal diseases, laser photometry.
