Publication type Volume (pages) Number of Sources DOI Assignment Key Features Original Research 8–12 15–30 Yes Full IMRAD structure. High citation potential.
Review Article 12–20 50–100 Yes In-depth analysis of literature (past 5–10 years). Case Report 5–8 10–15 Yes Focus on uniqueness and clinical photography (6–8 figures). Technical Note 3–5 up to 10 Yes Description of new methods, instruments, or protocols. Anniversary article (essay) 2–4 if necessary No Biographical data, list of works, portrait Post- release 1–2 None No A brief description or review of the event. Note: According to international standards (Crossref), a DOI is assigned to materials that possess independent scientific value. Chronological or informational notes (post-releases) are generally not indexed as scientific articles; therefore, DOI registration for these items is not applicable.
