Information Article Processing Charges (APC)

Dear Authors!

The journal Actual Dentistry is a peer‑reviewed scientific and practical publication that adheres to high standards of academic integrity. By submitting a manuscript to the editorial office, you confirm your agreement with the terms of payment for editorial processing and preparation of the article for publication (APC).

All articles of the journal are published in full open access. This provides the scientific community and the general public with unlimited, free, and immediate access to scientific articles.

Cost and Payment Terms

To ensure free access for readers, authors (their institutions or research funds) pay a one‑time fee for processing a manuscript accepted for publication:

  • Cost — 4,500 UAH (for manuscripts up to 12 pages inclusive).
  • An additional 100 UAH is charged for each subsequent page.
  • For Ukrainian authors, a 10% discount applies during the period of martial law.

The specified cost applies to properly prepared manuscripts. If the article requires substantial technical revision, literary editing, correction of English text, or reformatting of references, an additional fee may be charged for these services.

No separate fee is charged for submission or peer review.

The editorial fee is directed to ensuring the technological cycle of publication:

  • administration of the peer review process, text formatting, layout of tables and illustrations, proofreading, typesetting, and design.
  • assignment of an international DOI identifier, technical maintenance of the journal’s website, and permanent archiving of articles.
  • indexing in international scientometric databases, promotion of materials among the research community, and translation of metadata of foreign authors into Ukrainian.
Journal Policy

The editorial office supports young researchers: applicants of the third level of higher education (doctoral students) enrolled in state‑funded programs are exempt from payment for processing and publishing articles, provided that the article is prepared solely by them (without co‑authors).
