Abstract

Purpose: to analyze the structure of injuries of the bones of the middle part of the face over the past five years.
observation, determined the need to form several objects of scientific observation and analysis. A continuous statistical analysis included the case histories of patients with fractures of the mid face, medical institutions providing medical care to patients with traumatic injuries of the mid face in Kiev. The selective research method was applied to study the nature of traumatic injuries of the maxillofacial region, lifestyle and socio-psychological characteristics of patients with mid face injury, as well as to determine the effectiveness of medical and social rehabilitation in this category of patients.
Conclusion. The structure of traumatic injuries of the middle part of the face for the last five years was analyzed according to the materials of the clinic of maxillofacial surgery on the basis of statistical analysis of medical histories. The obtained data allowed to develop prospects for improving the provision of medical care to this group of patients.
